Pulms care supports individuals living in their own home to improve the quality of their lives. Pulms Care provides prompts and support with eating, washing, dressing, toileting, taking medication, shopping, and participating in social activities. It is important to the organisation that we maintain our clients independence, personal choice, and treat every client with dignity and respect.
Our aim is to make every day a good day for every one of our clients.
Pulms Care provides trained carers to assist with personal care in people’s homes, and support provided is based on a carefully designed care plan involving the client, their family, and professionals involved in their care. It is important to our organisation that any assistance provided with personal tasks is sensitive, caring and respects the clients privacy and dignity.
Pulms Care provides assistance with the following personal care tasks:
Pulms Care provides in house care if a loved one is on a temporary care giving break. Respite care can be for planned care giving breaks or unplanned breaks, and the length of respite care depends on our client's requests.
Pulms care provides a sleeping night carer and waking nights carer. A night time carer sit is when our trained carers can be asleep but can be woken up on request to provide assistance with personal care and personal hygiene tasks.
Pulms Care also provide waking night carers who will stay awake for the duration of the night to assist with personal care or personal hygiene tasks.
Live in care is the perfect solution for round the clock care in your home to assist with personal care tasks.
Palliative care is specialised medical support intended to improve the quality of life for those with an illness. Palliative care at home allows you to stay in the place you feel most comfortable, surrounded by memories, and the people you love.
Pulms Care can provide companionship by visiting clients, and having one to one discussions, or supporting clients to engage in activities that support their emotional and social wellbeing.
Pulms care can support people returning home, after a hospital stay and the support provided is personalised to the people we support.
Every care plan is fully adaptable to meet the ever-changing needs of the client. No detail is too small to warrant a change. We know that small attention to detail is important to clients and therefore it is essential that all wishes, and preferences of clients are noted and considered. We develop our care plans to be outcome driven and therefore are created with flexibility to suit the individual.
